Good News Story

During a home search of a person recently arrested Police recovered a leaf blower. Enquiries with the National property data base, Immobilise, revealed that it had been stolen by means of a burglary back in 2014.

Enquiries continue but this allows police to return the stolen property to the loser and offer clear evidence of an offence against the offender.
This highlights the benefits to clearly security mark your property, record any serial numbers and to register all recordable property unto the Immobilise website.

Immobilise is the world's largest FREE register of possession ownership details and together with its sister sites the Police's National Mobile Property Register (NMPR) on (www.thenmpr.com) and CheckMEND on (www.checkmend.com), forms a very effective tool in helping to reduce crime and repatriate recovered personal property to its rightful owners.

Immobilise can be used by members of the public and businesses to register their valued possessions or company assets, and exclusive to Immobilise all account holders registered items and ownership details are viewable on the Police national property database the NMPR.

This online checking service is used by all UK Police forces to trace owners of lost and stolen property. In addition Immobilise is checked daily by a huge range of recovery agencies and lost property offices.

The Immobilise system was setup in 2003 and has had the support of the Police, mobile phone industry and central government since it's inception. With the support of these and numerous other organisations during the past 6 years the Immobilise service has grown to service over 25 million members in the UK alone.
