Free Get Online drop-in sessions for residents

In support of National Get Online Week, which runs from 2 to 8 October, the Council is running a number of free drop-in sessions for local residents to help support their journey to do more online.

The sessions are aimed at people with no or limited experience of using the internet and will challenge them to do at least one thing online they would normally do by telephone or in person.

The workshops will cover the basics and help residents learn how to access the Council’s online services through its website, as well as those of Surrey County Council. The sessions will also offer a basic introduction to social media. Residents will be shown how to contact the Council and other organisations through Facebook and Twitter.

The drop-in sessions are free and open to everyone, but places are limited, so residents who would like to attend should contact the Council to secure a place.
