At a recent meeting of the Felbridge Parish Council, concern was expressed about parking  in Crawley Down Road at the entrance into the Village Hall.

Cars are being parked so close that they partially obstruct  the entrance to the car park. This causes difficulties for vehicles exiting  the car park area as  the sight  lines are severely restricted.

The Parish Council are asking residents  to park in such a way that the Village Hall entrance and the sight lines are not obstructed. To support that request, the Council are arranging for signs to be erected along the road edge reminding drivers of the requirement not to park there, thus  placing other road users in danger.

If that fails, the alternative would be to seek authority for the  installation of double yellow lines around the entrance and ask police to enforce them.
