The village event of the year is coming up on June 16

THE FELBRIDGE DIAMOND JUBILEE COUNTRY SHOW is on Saturday, June 16 from 11am to 4.30pm.

Attractions include a Craft Tent, Food Hall, Horticulture Tent, Birds of Prey, Fun Dog Show, Miniature Train Rides, Vintage Vehicles, Stalls, Sideshows, Competitions, a Licensed Bar, BBQ and Refreshments.
Children can enter a ‘Royal’ Fancy Dress competition which is being organised by Humpty Dumpty Pre-school and there will be a prize for the best dressed ‘Royal‘ Teddy.

TRY YOUR HAND at bowling at Felbridge Bowling Club's Open Day on Saturday, June 16 at 3.30pm/Thursday, July 26 at 6pm. The club is on Crawley Down Road next to the Tennis Club. Take a pair of flat shoes and the bowls will be provided as will expert advice and lots of encouragement.

CELEBRATE the Jubilee with Music and Dancing, Real Ale, Cocktails, a BBQ, soft drinks and snacks on Saturday, June 16 at the village hall from 6pm to 10pm.

Tickets are now on sale at the special price of 15 for a family of 2 adults and up to 6 children; 10 for 2 individuals and 6 for an individual. These can be purchased from Stephonie Clarke on 01342 715830. They will cost more on the door so get them soon.

ROAD RESTRICTIONS will inevitably be in place on Saturday, June 16 as the village celebrates the Diamond Jubilee at the village hall and on the village green.
Crawley Down Road will be one way from the junction with the A264 at the tip of the village green to Rowplatt Lane, past the shop, school and village hall from 9am to 4.30pm and there will be parking on one side of the road only. Traffic will be able to turn right down Rowplatt Lane.

Residents of both Crawley Down Road and Rowplatt Lane are asked to kindly park off road that day if at all possible. Please leave your cars at home or park at the Tennis Club, the Premier Inn or in the church car park at The Glebe.

SING YOUR HEART OUT at a home-grown Jubilee Special ‘Songs of Praise’ at St John’s Church on Sunday, June 17 at 6pm. Everyone welcome.
